While firming Error is : "Lot ID for the production not specified"?

Hi All,

I have created One item of type BOM say ‘test001’ which consist of two item type of items say “test0001” and “test0002”.

I have Activated & Approved Its bom version & Created its sales order.

I have run master scheduling for this BOM item.

Result of this i have “3 Planned Order”…

If i do firming this planned order, AX gives error msg:

Finally, Got the solution.!!
If we want to Firm planned order, keep two things in mind:

  1. Number sequence must be specified for Production orders.

  2. In addition to this, It must be “CONTINUOUS”.

Same can be applied to Purchase orders or Transer Order.
