Does the item you are making have an inventory transaction connected to the production order? I presume you did not manually create this order?
Yes it’s attached to the BOM as a Manuel item, the order was create from the system it self we have ran this product lots of times and this time it came with that error
So you added it to the BOM line prior to starting or after starting? Manually added and then you have consumed a pick or not? I presume not. The stock transaction of that item exists and I presume the lot id is blank somehow? How about reseting the order, removing the item and re-starting to remove the issue?
Sorry no this part number is attached to are job order so it self populates into the Bom when we create the order, we can consume as much piece/(issue), as we want but just as soon as we try to report as finished this error appears, and nope there is a lot ID number on there, and I cant reset the job order either same error appears witch is the difficulty we are having right now I’m stuck in released and started but from there i cant move forward nor back , I tired to zero out the part number so the order won’t pull nothing but somehow it still says that part number lot id is not specified when that part number has been zero out of the Bom
Get a developer to debug it, you have a lot ID and it is telling you that you dont have a lot ID, so either the message is misleading or the data is, debugging should point you in the right direction. You have a production order or batch order, is this what you mean by job order?
