Re-purposing a NAS?

Hi

We have NAV 4 sp1 running and are experiencing some slowdowns in the work day related to the NAS servers

we have 4 + 1 pointing at a test database. How can I re-point the test database NAS to the live

NASMSnapIN shows none of the NAS processes?

My way of setting up a NAS is to create a CMD-file, placed in NAS-directory, containing a line like this:

start nas.exe appservername=my_nas, servername=111.22.3.444:2413, company=NAS_Comp, startupparameter=NAS_Parm_01, nettype=tcp, installasservice

Now it is very easy to open the CMD, change the parameters and run the CMD again. If the service exists, it will be removed and installed as a new service. Remember to change the service-setup “Log on as”, if necessary.
