Transfer order issue in receipt if multiple location(inventory dimension) used

Hi,

In a Transfer order am using site, warehouse,batch no and location, while posting shipment if a batch is picked from different location on receipt either of the location’s batch qty is received. i.e., after posting receipt in inventory transaction for transfer order shipment in transit warehouse will have sold but for transfer order receive purchased will not be posted.

This is kind of issue faced by anybody, if yes can suggest the solution for the same.

For eg an item has inventory dimension has site, warehouse, batch no and location are activated, in transfer order shipping qty is 10 from site -1, warehosue- 1A, bacth no is ABC and location is from 2 ifferent location namely loc1(6 qty), loc2(4 qty),on receiving AX is reciveing either 6 qty or 4 qty either or other has no clue what happened.

On viewing inventory transation for this transaction transfer order shipment for instransit are sold for both 6 and 4 qty where as transfer order receive for receiving site has receipt either for 6 or 4 qty only.

I have done similar transaction, i don’t see any such problem.

What is the status of transfer order? Have a look at the whole transactions for that item to see where that remaining qty to be received goes.
