we are now implementing MS dynamics 2012, my case is that i have 3 warehouse (raw material, WIP, finished products), i want to create production order for product (fromula type) ( the warehouse in the formula lines is prodction warehouse) is there anyway to automatically move the required products for production order from raw material warehouse to the production warehouse, i tried the output orders but its not working properly unless within the same warehouse.
You would need to set the item coverage up with rules to transfer into the production warehouse from the RM warehouse - AX does not really do physical WIP so it depends what you are using that for. Anyway if you set the rules up hte demand on production will suggest a transfer from raw material and actionaing this you can process it into the warehouse.
