As a NAV developer, then if you only can participate in one conference per year, then in my mind there is only one option. And that’s NAV TECH DAYS arranged by my old friend Luc van Dyck (Mibuso). The other conferences like Directions (US/EMEA) and NAVUG Summit are fine, but no other are really dedicated all the NAV developers!
And of course I’m going to be there too and would love to have a chat with you if you are there too.
Hey [mention:61b2aa9ce72e429baa1ef43208ddbea4:e9ed411860ed4f2ba0265705b8793d05] ,
I always thought to be a part of NAVTechDays, but it happens so far from where i live. I miss not being part of it, but i think i cannot do anything.
Remember when [mention:facd1c39e088429db490237bf8d2779f:e9ed411860ed4f2ba0265705b8793d05] was working on putting up a conference for DUG, here we talked about Bangkok as being one of our #1 places.
Just the payment we would have to pay in advance for “venue” reservation, is just around what DUG made on Google advertising in 10 years!
But Rome wasn’t built in one day. And if we can find enough people who would commit to both participate and volunteer to help arrange it. Then maybe we could consider doing something, on a smaller scale.
You can consider me for both and I am sure we can find enough people as lot of people willing to attend Techdays but not possible because of cost/visa etc.
