Will zero quantities on a sales order or transfer order skew planning suggestions?
I wouldn’t expect it to alter the maths at all, however they will be taken into account by the planning fuctions, so from a coding point of view if you had a sales line with 0 outstanding quantity, this would be included by the planning calculations as a line (but it would make no difference, as the qty = 0).
That said, zero quantities can cause a headache if they are part of the supply side of planning. So if you have a purchase order with a qty = 0, NAV will potentially suggest that you change qty/reschedule this line, as it will see the line as “fair game”.
Thanks for the response. I have tested and it seems the date filters are not adhered to when “blank” sales/transfer lines exist…
