I want to install the navision server on a Citrix Xpa Server (W2K). When I start the service I get the error: the service on local System could not start. Error 1 (auf Deutsch: Der Dienst auf “Lokaler Computer” konnte nicht gestartet werden. Fehler 1: Unzulässige Funktion) I install the serivce with the command: server servername=navi265, nettype=tcp, cache=999999, commitcache=Yes, database=e:\Navision\database.fdb, installasservice Have anybody a solution ?
I found my problem the value of the cache was to high I reduced it to 500000 and it’s work fine.

Check the security permissions on the database.fdb file.
