Navigator 3.56 (DOS) og Win2k 08/03 2001 16:56:32 Can’t get Navigator 3.56 to contact the Navigator server (running under OS/2) from a Windows 2000 client. The program is called with : c:\navi2.exe serverno=1. I have also tried with Navin.exe. I get the message: Navision modtog fejlkoden 35 fra Netbios Had same result on a Win95 client, but solved it by setting Netbios as default protocol under IPX/SPX, but I can’t find where to do that inW2k. Anyone to help??? /Casp
Have heard somewhere that it isn’t possible to set the default protocol, when using multiple ones in Windows 2000. Have also heard that the default protocol on the machine, will be the one that is installed first, but haven’t tried it myself.
Problem solved :-))) I downloaded Microsofts lanacfg.exe and with that forced Netbios on lananum=0, rebooted and bingo, it worked!
