2.6 SQL is definitely faster than 2.5 SQL. Without upgrading the database I would expect some increase in speed, but I assume that the C/AL has been updated in places to increase speed - possibly to do with locking/record level locking in SQL. 2.6 SQL is fast - we ahve a 300 user site that has gone live … they are currently running at 150 users (more users are coming online every day)… its performance is fine so far and we expect it to stay the same.
