Hi,

I have got the study material for Nav “5.0”.Is Applications for Microsoft Dynamics NAV “2009” and Applications for Microsoft Dynamics NAV 5.0 the same???The exam codes look different though.Please tell me the difference.I am planning to get certified as Microsoft Certified IT Professional – Applications for Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2009.Do I need to get a different study material??Is thecertification -Microsoft Certified IT Professional – Applications for Microsoft Dynamics NAV and Microsoft Certified IT Professional – Applications for Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2009 trhe same??Please suggest .I am really confused.

Navision 2009 is Nav 6.0

  • it has kind of alpha & beta relase version
  1. Nav 2009 SP1 is Nav 6.0 ( very good )

Classic & RTC

  1. Nav 2009 is Nav 6.0 w/o SP1 (lot of bugs)

Classic & RTC

  • lot of version conflit in case one direct import & export (between SP1 & w/o SP1)

Navision 5.0 is Nav 5.0

Classic

Better to do 2009 exams as its latest

I wanted to go for MS NAV 2009 certification.Please suggesr me with the learning resources or any books to prepare for that. Also please rell me the procedure for applying.

I have the list of exam codes but i don’t know where i get the reference books for preparation.

Please help me.

First you prepare your self … what domain are preparing & want to work on …

i. Techincal - then you need to do c/side exams

ii. Functional - application exams

iii. Support - installation & configuration…

once you clear you first exam automatically mcp id(given by microsoft) will create a tree like structure for you, In future you can decide on that…

you can get latest study material from parter source or u can buy from microsoft learning

are there any pre requisites for writing these exams. also please let me know are these exams stands good for becoming a Implementation Consultant.

The exam tests your understanding of the concepts…but this doesnt give much realtime experience…but the certificates are highly valid…

Procedure :where in india do you wish to take? if you are familiar with NIIT…you can take test in this centre.
