Nav 3.7 and SQL 2005 migration

I am writting based on the article

I came to the same error and now I would like to finish my work and please let me know, if my steps are correct:

1.I installed the SQL 2005, I setup the trace flag 4616 in Setup parameters

  1. I did the nav 3.7 full backup

  2. I created the new database on server that has SQL 2005 using Nav 3.7

  3. In 3.7 I do a restore.

  4. After restore, I open navision with Nav 5 client and convert the database,

Is that all? Should I expect any other error:

Errors that I got and resolved: - Trace Flag 4616 and the same error as in artilce above

All the database users that are on SQL 2000 and Nav 3.7, I need to set them in SQL 2005 as well or I will get errors, correct?

Please let me know if I am doing correcr

Interestingly, I am doing this on a regular basis now, and actually am going to do a restore tomorrow into SQL 2005. I will not down what I do and let you know.

BUT !!!

This is not supported, 3.70 should only run on SQL 2000, not on 2005, this is only for local testin, not for a live situation.

Oh, believe me that I know. But I have a work to do and I am just doing what I need to do.

I asked only if I should expect for any other errors and about users.

Create the new database with the 5.0 client and restore the 3.7 backup into it.
