Manually post production order picking list journal

Hi,

In my testing in AX 2009, if I use auto BOM consumption,

AX will create a picking list journal and put the proposal and consumption quantity in the picking list journal.

However, if I need to create a picking list journal manually, I can’t specify the proposal quantity?? And also if I do not check the “End” checkbox, AX consider I still want to put more materials in the production order?

Yes that is correct - the proposed quantity is the BOM calculated quantity, if you manually create one it will not propose anything, you record consumption. And the end indicates there is no more material, if you do not tick it you are telling the system there is more to come.
