During GRN, what will happen if I want to cancel the remaining order?

Scenario:

I have purchased 10 items from vendor.
During GRN, I received 9 items.

I want to cancel the remaining order (1 item).

Is that possible and how to do it?

Ticked the closed (?) box during receipt.

Once received run the deliver remainder function.

If items are already received and you didn’t check ‘Close’ check box as Adam suggested do the following:

  1. Select PO line

  2. Go to Functions/Deliver remainder

  3. Click ‘Cancel quantity’

Works in AX2009.

How about AX2012?
As i dont see Functions/Deliver remainder field in AX2012

Yep the function is still there on the purchase line. Update Line option then deliver remainder option.
