hi

in the requisition worksheet in nav5

here is the scenario…i select a JO no. which is a dimension…then select a vendor no…but then when i reselect a vendor the value of JO No. dimension disappears…is there a way not to make it disappear? by coding or setup maybe

It doesn’t “dissapear” - it is updated from Vendor card, and seemingly that new Vendor hasn’t a value set for Dim in question…

why is it updated by vendor not by item no. which is the primary key

Can’t say WHY, but Dims are fetched from Vendor Card, not Item - at least some of them… So, as you change Vendor, Dims are changed, too (VALIDATED actually).

Just did a quick check in CRONUS DB - Dims populated were values from VC. Well, Item in question hadn’t any Dims defined at all.

Hi Victor,

Have you looked at the Default Dimension Priority functionallity? - I haven’t used this for the requisition worksheet but it should work.

tried the default dimension function but the problem is when you change the JO. then select a vendor the value of JO will be the default of the item…the default value should be updated…is this possible?
