Automatic unlocking of quarantine orders

Hello everybody,

I am using AX 2009.

What I need to do is to lock the inventory at its arrival for a period of time. I need it locked for the Master Planning just for a period of time and I want AX to unlock it automatically after this period of time.

So quarantine orders are a good choice because they lock the inventory for its use but I can’t find a way to unlock automatically the inventory or finish the quarantine automatically.

Is this possible to do?

Hola Nacho,

There is no automatic unlock of quarantine orders based on time, you need to manually ‘End’ them (mostly depending on quality control results) in order to have the product available, once you End the quarantine order, the system will put the item back to its default warehouse automatically.
