AIF Data exchange for Intercompany

Hi All,

I’m new to AIF, I have read some Documents of AIF but no where it’s specified about exchanging data for Intercompany, Can any one please provide any document for Step by Step process for Exchanging Data. It will be Helpful for me.

There are some info on intercompany orders in ‘Applications and Business Processes’ help guide. Hopefully this should point you in the right direction.

Thanks for you reply, i found some info about Intercompany, Client requirement is to exchange the data and store it as Excel and retrieve the data as Excel, i think AX only supports xml format, is there any procedure for the same.

Hi,

For a intercompany transaction, storing the data in Excel format in one company and retrieving it again from another company sounds inefficient. Is there any particular reason why the customer wants to go down this route? Also what transaction is it?

And yes - Aif supports XML format. For excel related import / export, you may have to write the integration code from scratch.

As of now we have not received the Clear requirements or Documentation from Client, But they said try to work on Exchanging data to Excel via AIF intercompany, Thanks for your kind Information.
