Sorting in Role Tailored Client

Hi there,

My client is on NAV 2009 SP1. They want to sort their GL Ledger Entry table by a different key. I went onto the page - to the first empty line and clicked on properties. I have selected the correct sorting, but when opening the role tailored client, the sorting has not changed. I have deleted the user from the User Metadata, but it seems that the data is still catched somewhere. Could you please help me?

You can change the sorting order in Page itself like shown in below image you can Select sorting

Thanks for your reply. The problem is that the sorting is not sorted when changing it on the page. You have to sort it every time you open the page. My client wants the sorting to default.

I changes Customer list page sorting order to Customer Posting Group and it is working fine…

Did you try it by restarting the service?

The sorting is removed entry time you open a page.

You will have to sort every time.

If yo do it manually, you have to sort it everytime…

if you set it in properties of page then no need to set it everytime…

Means i need to customize the page ?

You need to set Sorting Order in Page properties
