Hi, when an item is reserved on one Sales Order, it can’t be invoiced on another (until we remove the quantity on the previous open order). Is it possible to release the stock from one SO to another without deleting or changing the qty. on open order?
Yes, unreserve it from the sales line holding it.
an item can be unreserved in the original SO line. go to the inventory tab > reservations, then delete the qty in the RESERVATION column. this will release the stock for consumption elsewhere.
