Problem with Ax user and AD user

Hi,

I have a wired problem.

A user was there in Ax. Users has good transactions with the userid.

Now the user is removed from AD and recreated with the same ID.

This user is now not be able to login into the Ax.

What’s the solution on this. If I remove and recreate the user will it preserve the old data?

The connection between AX user and AD is realized through AD security identifier (SID). If you update SID field in UserInfo table in AX, the user should be able to connect. I would do this rather than deleting and recreating the user.
