update users in the system

Good Morning;

I am Administrator Dynamics ax, when i want to enable/disable a user : Administration>>Common Forms>>Users, i got this error: “This user account does not exist in Active Directory. See your network administrator”

I checked the Active Directory and the name of user is correct also i have all rights as Administrator to modify the users list in dynamics ax.

Thank you for your help in advance.

Try deleting the user and re-import the user from the AD, that may work.

Thank you Santosh for your reply,

I did what you said to me,but i got this error:

The Active Directory domain controller name “XX” cannot be reached. Verify your permissions and network connectivity.

thank you for your Help.

You obviously have to fix your connection to the domain controller.

try by running the following command,

open command prompt

ipconfig /flushdns

ipconfig /registerdns

Try it, it may helps you. But it is the temporary solution. you have to fix it in AD as martin said.

Good afernoon,

I run this command and the result:

But i don’t know how to fix my connection to the domain controller.

thank you so much for your help.

Sorry, I don’t know what’s the problem with your connection, so I can’t tell you how to fix it. Are you able to ping the server?

yes, i can ping to server.

Can you query active directory from other tools than AX?

I am sorry, I have no idea to test it from other tools than AX.

For example, try to search AD users from file permissions setup. Or contact your AD administrator.

Thank you for your help, the problem was the connection to domain. I connect to the domain and the problem is resolved.

seaarch going through user - import - next - select domain - and search all

even if you cant do it create new user

give userid username - domain and assign roles
