We are unable to post our consumption journal whenever the item to be consumed is zero or negative in inventory. Each time we attempt to post, we receive an error stating “Item ___ is not on inventory.” Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Kindly check the inventory of that item by location
If it is not available then u need to make it availablr before posting consumption
Thank you for the repsonses. We had a feeling that a positive adjustment would be the only way. We tested it in the new NAV 2013 demo as well, and it appears that a positive adjustment will be required there also. Thanks again for the help.
