Hi, When planning worksheet is run, it will consider all of the Items into consideration unless you choose certain filters.The filters provided are basically the parameters assigned to the Items in their cards. However, our requirement is to plan based on the Sales Order. Say, I create a Sales Order for a M-T-O Item and run planning worksheet. I should be able to plan all of the material exclusively required for the manufacture that particular Item. Has anybody come across similar requirements and any solution without customization? Thanks in advance.
If you are using filters you will filter out the subcomponents and therefore breaking your own requirement - if you filter for the top level it will plan the top level, remove the filter and will plan the required demand.
If you are talking about MTO scenarion than in that case all the items including components should be MTO. Now if you enter the final item , system automatically explode BOM and calculates the supply required to fulfill the demand.
