Paper statements to Email statements in NAV 2013

We are trying to eliminate using USPS to mail statements and invoices to customers and going to email. Do you know if there is an “easy” solution in Nav to accomplish this?

To send invoices by email, you can use the “Document Mailing Profile”. With this you can setup different ways to interact with you customers to send the invoices you create via electronic data (using PDF, XML, JSON or other electronic data format). When you post the invoice, use “Post and Send” action.

To send statements, there isn’t any standard way to do it, you must create some personalization to do this.

In lieu of a modification, there is a very inexpensive ISV called EasyPDF on the market. I implemented this solution with NAV 2016 to do what you are explaining above:
