Has anyone successfully installed NWS on win2000 server? Navision dont seem to officially support W2K yet, only NT 4.0 Server. Any tips?
I followed the instructions from MS website to install W2K Adv. server, SQL, Site Server etc. That document recommended to instll SS3 on a standalone server. Taking this to mean the server should be on workgroup, i made it a workgroup computer during W2K installation. Later on I ended up using ADS and making this a domain controller of mycompany.com anyway. After all this, when I tried to install the Navision Web server, Dispatch client and Queues, I kept getting errors saying errors because queues cannot be set up on a workgroup instllation. What the **** is going on?
