Starting the service on SQL DB I get worning “The supplied net type value of tcps is not valid. The available net types are: Default,Named Pipes,TCP/IP Sockets,Multiprotocol.” But I can not set the Net Type as in MBS version. On Navision DB the value is defolt Any aidias.
Yes that is a known bug in the NAS manager snap-in. You will have to run the command prompt, uninstall the service and reinstall the service, and explicitly set the nettype to TCP. The installation guide has the details of the syntax. Let me know if you can’t find it and I’ll help you with that too.
