OCX / Automation Data Type missing form the drop down box when in the designer mode creating new global and local field need to assign data type to OCX or Automation.
Pls advise.

If you don’t have the OCX and Automation data types in NAV 2009 R2 like this:
Then it’s most likely because you don’t have granule 1750 OCX in your license. Check Tools → License Information.

Don’t know why your picture didn’t show. But looks like it wasn’t uploaded first.
Did you check your license file? Do you have granule 1750 OCX on the list?
if the automation is missing, then it’s not installed on your system.
did you upgrade from an older nav version?
did you install nav on a new server ?
