Hii there, Does anyone know what the Max number of AOS-servers there can be installed on a win2k advanced server?
Hi. We have used max 5 to 6 AOS:s / hardware during the implementation phase. If the customer has licence for 2 AOSes it means 2 per each database. In production environment we didn’t get 100 % cpu load with one server instance, so we use two. It means more physical memory and swap file according to it. Remember to specify different ports for each instance runnning on the same hardware - even if they are running as cluster. br,

Hi I remember that was a question of the Axapta Server exam. If you take the question in a correct way, you’d have to say the answer is ONE. There can be more instances running (every one using an axserv32.exe), but you can only install one Axapta Server from the setup CD. Anyway, as a side tip: one AOS instance is only using one CPU.
