Item is not displaying in Item Master

Dear Sir,

While doing the Packing slip in purchase order, the system throws the error message called " Cannot Edit a record in Inventory Module Parameter(Invent Module Table). The record has never been selected. (Ax 4.0 SP1)

I have checked that the Item is available in Invent Table, but it is not showing in Item Master (Form Level).

Can you give me the solutions for this problem.

Hi,

While importing items you may be missed Invent table Module,Invent table form consist of multitables,one of them is Invent table module, check wether 3 records are created against this item in table. like Module type Inventory,Purchase order and Sales order.

Running Basic → Periodic → Consistency Check on Inventory Management should fix this issue…

Dear Mahadevan,

Go to inventory Table Module table and check whether the item is avaialable for 3 modules.
