I would advise you use a dataport.
How can you expect anyone to give you any answer in detail when you provide nothing yourself. You do not tell us the error, the table you are attempting to populate the fields, how you are trying to do this. No detail whatsoever, but you expect a reply with detail - based upon what??? [:D]

You can use dataport for importing the data from excel files.

Not quite correct - you may prepare your data in Excel, but before importing you must “save as” it in CSV format (text file), as DataPort can not read Excel file directly.
