Importing customers from template query

My Customer fields are fully populate apart from the customer discount group field. Can i re-import the same data using the import template function within the rapidstart services or will this mess up all my data?

Hi Gary,

There is nothing stopping you from reimporting the data again using RapidStart.

Notes:

  1. Obviously if any users have altered the data after import this will be lost on reimport.

  2. You need to ensure that the No. Series you have setup for CUSTOMERS is set to MANUAL. This way you can set the Customer No in the excel file you import and it will reimport over the existing information i.e. same no. in the file as in NAV.
