I am a pretty new ERP Consultant and very new to Nav 2013.
We would like to do an import of our customer Item list which is an excel file into Dynamics NAV 2013. I have tried to do it several times but with no luck.
Can someone please advise me on how to import it? and if is possible provide me with step by step instructions.

What steps did you try?
1.you check Rapidstart services
2.you can write xmlport
3.you can simply copy from excel and paste in NAV but make sure that fields in excel and NAV match and fields are validated based on order.

I have basically tried through Rapidstart Services but I did not manage to get it working because:

I go to Configuration Worksheet - (27) Items Table – Import from Excel Template – And then I get no error or any message and am stuck.
Is it possible to give me step by step for Rapidstart please?

You should first export the template and prepare the data in that template and import.
