Impact on Changing currency exchange rate decimal places

Hi,

Would like to know if there’s any impact by changing the default exchange rate decimal places from 6 to 11 ?

And from where we can change it ?

Hi Domainlee,
This is not really something a user would change, as you need to change the programming of Navision.

But if you have access to the development environment, then you can change it in the table definition for the fields you want it to affect. The property DecimalPlaces must be changed from 1:6 to 1:11.

The impact of doing this would be a more “precise” calculation, but the actual amounts are still rounded to the default setting of your currencies.
