How to Exclude Old Demand in MRP AX

Hi Experts,

I am having one year old demands which I dont want to include in my current MRP run.

Can you suggest how do I setup the MRP for this?

My Version Ax 2009 RU7

Hi Adam,

For those Items I was using an external system and used manual MRP to exclude from the MRP run.

Now I am ready to use Ax for those items also.But when I run MRP it includes the older demands also.

I want MRP to include only say this month demand.

The demand that you are talking about is “Sales forecast lines” that are defined for the item? if not, could you pls explain what is this older demand exactly

Historical sales forecast is ignored as standard I believe, so it is the type of demand that is critical. If the items are in a separate system and are now in AX the question is why is the demand still there - it must have been satisfied. Can we have an example - is it a sales order? Why have you not got stock or shipped it etc. etc.
