Our company just switched from an old Cobol driven program to Navision 5.0.
I am an old Cobol programmer from the 80’s and am having a rough time coding reports, screens, etc…
Hopefully this web site will help me improve…
I get no help from the company who set the program up of course… They want to charge us everytime I ask them a question and my boss won’t allow any billings from me to them…

I am sure that the company who set up your system is more than willing to help you, they just need to be compensated for it. If your boss doesn’t want to pay for it, then it’s hardly the implementer’s fault that you can’t get their help.
To get a good idea about NAV development, I can recommend Dave Studebaker’s book, there’s a link to it form the front page of this website.
