I am getting the following Error when I am opening the Purchase order window “Another User has modified the record for this Purchase and Payables Setup after you retrieved from the database. Enter your changes again in the updated window.”
What kind of error is this and why is this appearing again and again?

Did you did anything before you get this error. Did you stopped or cancelled in running transaction??
If you dint did anything then the easiest way to get rid of this is to start the service once.
Note - Starting NAV Service is never recommended until and unless it’s really needed, it will stop the instance and user have restart it. Design your piece of code as such and use Rec.Locktable.

I have restarted the service as required by you.
I had changed the invoice rounding from Yes to No and vice versa. Does that lead to the error meessage?
Still after restarting the service you are getting this error? Just changing the rounding precision shouldn’t affect this until and unless there is change in codes,
