Hi I’m trying to get my head around some of the intrancies of the WMS setup. If I want to use Directed Pick and Aut-away with Bin with a maximum weight. I want the receipt to suggest the default bin unless it is full and then suggest the reserve bin. The issue I have is that if a single line pushes the bin capacity over the max it doesn’t allow me to create a second line and allocate the remaining to the reserve bin. Derek: You use “Split Line” function to take the qty to “Pick” or “Put-Away” and place the difference (or qty that exceeds weight) to another Bin. Look at Warehouse Put-Away Form, under Functions button you will see Split Line. Thier is Training Documentation on this (v3.7, page 3-11. v4.0, please email and I’ll send copy). Steve
I might also suggest you use the WMS without all the bells and whistles turned on at first. If you set youself up with tight rules to start with you might bring your company to a dead stop.
