Is it posible to restict the object type that a user can put into design mode using standard permissions? Our customer has a licence with the deisgn granules but wants to restrict normal users of their system to only designing reports and not forms, tables etc. Any Ideas? Chris.
Yes. You can use RIMDX on all objects. So a user can for example eXecute all objects, but only Modify, for example, Reports 50000…50010. It is standard in the permission system.
