Blank Cronus Database?

Greetings experts

I have trying to copy a Cronus Database, version 4.0 sp3 to my laptop.

I create the blank database, I create the company, I restore it.

The system seems to be copying it, but when I go to open the company it is blank.

Once the restore is complete, the system will give a confirmation message.

Creating blank database is OK, but you need not create a company rather you should restore a backup in the newly created database (available in NAV CD,as database.fbk file)

After this the company should be there in database, you can check by pressing F12.

If you create the company before restoring, Navision will not allow you to do the restore, as such company alredy exists. It should have notified you about this.

Second, did you check to do full restore & checked the CRONUS company?
And, if Company list is empty in Restore Form, then your backup simply doesn’t contai any companies, only Objects.

I tried it again this morning and it worked.

I was not creating the company as I had said, but it appeared created but then when I cliked on it it was void…
