I’m trying to run adjustment exchange rate batch job for currencies EUR in the end of the month . The test mode it’s going right. When uncheck the test mode and I preview it’s shown the message “ Gen. Posting Type must not be in Gen. Journal Line Template Name “, Journal Batch Name”,Line No. =’0’ “
I have posted before but only this month it’s shown this message.
Does anyone have any idea what to change in order to run this batch job.

In the other company that it’s in the same database it’s runing and posting the correct adjustments. Does anyone hase any ide what to change.
It’s sounds like you have some differences in the way you have setup the GL accounts for your currencies.

I have actually found out the reason for this, so here is the solution i found on the net :
This problem occurs because you have specified Gen. Prod. Posting Group for the G/L Account selected. To solve this problem, you can either:
1) Remove the Gen. Product Posting Group from the journal lines
OR
2) Remove the Gen. Product Posting Group from the G/L Account Card and then reselect the G/L Account in Journal lines.
