User synchronization error

Hi,

i have restore a NAV native database to SQL server 2005 database. And i can login in NAV using the windows admin account who did the restoration. But when i want to sync other windows users i get an error like,

"The sql server login doesn’t exist on the "

This only occurs when i choose to sync all logins.

Any help is appreciating. thanks

Hi Ashraf,

I guess, that PCS is a Database user, and that you probably restored the Database to a different SQL-Server. Before you can synchronize the Database Logins, you will have to add these Users in the SQL Server (e.g. with Management Studio, Security/Logins) with the Option SQL Server authentication. The Windows Logins get created automatically (at least if you’re in the same domain).
