Can anyone suggest a solution for the following scenario While shipping the Transfer Order with Item not in Inventory does not allow me to post, same case with receipt also. (The same is the case even in Item Reclass. Journal)
You are correct. Navision won’t allow you to transfer an Item which is not in inventory. This can be easily broken (One line of code), but doing so has some fairly major costing implications. The first question I would ask is why are you transferring Items which are not on inventory and can this be worked around.
Hi Chrisk, Thanks for the reply As my client deals with FMCG & Retail Items, sometimes there are situations that they transfer out first (due to discrepancies) and resolve the discrepancies later. So the need for Transfer outs for the items which are not in Inventory is required. Could you please suggest some solution for this.
