One of our clients has a problem with report printing in Navision 2.60 on their windows 9x machines. Sometimes everything works fine, but then suddenly a couple of times when they want to print a report they get a spool32.exe error and all they can do is reboot the machine. They’ve updated these machines with the latest fixes from Microsoft but they still have the same problem. When the reports are printed on a Win2k/XP machine everything works fine! And on the Win9x machines all other programs print without problems! The specific printer is a network printer, they print to the network-path of the printer and didn’t map a local port to the network-printer. Can anyone help me out?
The spool32 is the driver for the printer spooling service. Try not using spooling but printing directly to that network printer from that windows 9x system.
