setting up barecodes

Hi,

I need to setting up barecodes in Dynamics Ax 2009.

How to do that ? and we can use it for each operation ( receiving goods, pick, pack, ship …etc) and how ?

Thanks for your reply,

I Careated a bar code With Type EAN 13 Under "“Basic → setup → Barcodesetup”

Than, I assigned the bar code to an Item In “INVManag → Forms → Item Details”.

Now My requirement is i want to print the barcode for that item. I Need to test the barcode for receiving goods or picking operation

Any Help…

Hi abdel,

You will get item barcode value(itemBarCode) from ‘InventItemBarcode’ table.

I am already creating the barcode for item “Inventory Management > Common Forms > Item Details > Setup > Bar codes” . But, i can’t print the barcode ?!! i can’t enter an order (sales or purchase ) using barcode ?!!

Kindly help me to find a solution to these points,
