When we run PAG113 G/L Budget , and enter the field “Show as Lines” from lookup it does not reflect the change immediatly. When i tried to debug it , i found OnValidate trigger was not getting called. And as i changed the source expr of this field to a new test variable , the On Validate trigger was getting called and updating the budget instantly.
But i could understand how with the change of a variable , the OnValidate trigger was getting called , what was the diffrence between the new and existing variable.??
