i got the error while posting the picking list of the production order.
“Account number of transaction type does not exist”.
Journal is not posted and update is cancelled.

Could you post the screen shot?
It means your accounts configuration is incorrect - as AX cannot post financially it has to cancel the update. Populate the missing account reference in the posting group configuration.

satish, previous four post of yours were rejected because they were completely empty. Now you added some text, but there is still no image, so we can’t see anything useful.
Ensure the posting groups for the item in the journal is correctly populated.
I would ask a developer to debug the message - blank reference may imply you have customized it and caused the posting issue.

Yes check the code - if it has all the posting groups and the message is returning a blank reference I would suggest there is a customization issue here. It is asking you for a posting group and you have confirmed all posting groups exist - time to debug what the message actually means!

As i’m new to AX,i’m not very familiar in debugging.
Can u tell how to find out where the error exist in code.
Means after i started the debugger and i will try to post it. i want to show where the code throws error.
Any help would be appreciated.
