Problm with dataport

HI All,

I am trying to import a text file which has fields seperated by tab space, I am tryng to import this file using variable format, then what value i have to set to “Field seperator” property?

Is there any other propertys that i need to set?

Please help me in this issue, its very urgent for me.

Hi Subrata,

I am getting an error while importing that says, "The text is too long , The text in code fields can have a max length of 2 chars"

But the size of that field is 10 in table designer.

Hi,

Kindly check your variable size if you are using any variable

Or else check if u r not importing the data in the wrong field
