Problem with contacts

Hi there. I’m looking at utilising the ‘Contacts’ feature, particularlly with Vendors.

When on the Vendor card, I select ‘Contacts’ from the ‘Vendor’ menu at the bottom and get the message:

You must specify Bus. Rel. Code for Relatiohship Management Setup Primary Key=’’.

I looked in relationship management setup, and where the code for bus rel setup is, there are no options to pick. Do I simply create codes? What is the purpose of them?

They are set up in Sales and Marketing - Setup - Company - Business Relations.

This can help to categorise your contacts, the synchronisation tab holds the default settings for when a customer/vendor is created and the associated contact record is automatically created.
