I’ve just installed Analysis Extensions so that I can get cubes that ship with AX. I ran through the ConfigureDefaultCubes.pdf to update the OLAP database, but when I have to Sync the database, nothing happens and my log file isn’t created. Does any one have experience with this? The reason I need the log file is because there are columns not used, and I would like to know them so that I can edit the cubes and delete the columns. Right now, I can’t process the cubes.
Are you using Server 2008 or a Operating system with UAC?
If so, try running the client with “Run As Administrator”
