Hi Experts ,
I want to defined number series for a production order months wise . is these any relationship to set number series month wise. Sytem will pick number series as per month .
e.g.
Prod-Oreder - Prd/0111/00001----for Jan 2011
Prd/0211/00002—For Feb
User don’t want to defined this series every month ,he will defined only first time at the setup of number series.

Define your no. series and then in lines (button at bottom) enter your starting date and corresponding no. series.
Hi,
You need to define the No Series as follows
In No Series you add
Name Prod
Starting No :- Prd/0111/00001
Now click on series button and click on lines
Enter Start Date Enter End date for First Month
In next line start for next month series
So on We need to define each month series in the line with start date and end date of month
